In certain countries such as France, the law stipulates that internships can only be served in the context of a degree course or an apprenticeship. For this reason, a so-called convention de Stage is always required for an internship. This is a contractual agreement between intern, employer and training institution.
A standardised contractual agreement (HSG template) in english or french is issued by the Dean's Advisory Office, as well as a confirmation of matriculation on an external document (pre-filled with all relevant personal data).
Please note: the agreement exempts employers from any insurance obligations. Students have to provide evidence that they have taken out a health and liability insurance.
If you would like to have an English or French Convention de Stage based on the HSG template, or a confirmation of matriculation on an external document, please select “Customize now” and then let us know your precise wishes and/or detailed information about your order. When we have received your payment, a member of staff of the University of St.Gallen will contact you and inform you about further procedures or directly send you the documents you have ordered if all the data required for this are complete.
